How to Pass the Customs Broker Exam

The Customs Broker Exam is one of the most difficult professional exams in existence. It is only offered twice a year, and the pass rates range from as little as 4% to a high of 33%. In the last 5 years the average is just 17%.

How Can I Pass the Exam?

Those statistics are unnerving! You are probably asking yourself, "How can I possibly pass the Customs Broker Exam"? I know I did when I was setting out to pass. It seems like an impossible task. I am here to tell you though that it is not impossible. You can pass the CBLE. Here's how:

• Sign up for a study course
• Plan to spend 12 weeks studying (8 is the bare minimum)
• Work on your time management

I know, that is a short list that doesn't adequately explain everything that goes into preparing.

Why do So Many Fail?

In my opinion, it is because they don't know how to prepare for the exam. Understanding the material is a big part of it. But just as important is time management. The number one reason, in my opinion, that people do not pass is that they ran out of time.
